On the edge of Dr Mary Booth Lookout Reserve, Kirribilli Harbour is an architectural celebration of its heritage streetscape and harbour scenery. Design collective EM BE CE have sculpted two boutique buildings from this lush outcrop on the Sydney foreshore, enhancing its greatest features and viewlines for a new generation of residents.
Respectfully complementing each other and the ever-evolving Kirribilli Avenue.
Treba Hall
Retaining its original front and sides, the architecture of Treba Hall appears untouched from the street. Yet only residents can admire the new rear façade: panels of curved glazing pointed towards the waterfront, with the same modern brickwork of Ruskin Hall. Atop the roof, a two-storey penthouse apartment opens up to the sky via a copper-framed sunroom.
Ruskin Hall
Historic design principles. Fluid new forms. Exclusively comprised of 3-bedroom residences, Ruskin Hall is a contemporary interpretation of its neighbouring buildings. A façade of narrow, variegated masonry and bronze detailing reflects the harbour light, while the rounded building corners of custom-made brick reference the curves and flow of Sydney Harbour waves.
Kirribilli Harbour is immersed in verdant grounds, cascading from the groves of Kirribilli Avenue through to Dr Mary Booth Reserve as your informal backyard. This shared landscape by creative practice Dangar Barin Smith brings the built forms together with coastal natives, grandiose palms, and flowering vines. Retreat to the cooling lawn space with integrated seating, awaiting your enjoyment of the harbourfront.
Residential privacy and a discerning arrival experience is paramount at Kirribilli Harbour. The front garden conceals a car lift, transporting your vehicle to secure basement parking and storage. Each apartment includes its own entrance lobby, where marble floors, travertine walls and bespoke lighting usher you to your front door.
